BEWARE – Stunning pictures !

Thursday, 17 April – The Upper Composite began its final journey today, carefully rolled out of S5B in a perfectly executed operation, and that was just the beginning of a very impressive operation.

Though the distance to the VEGA-C launch pad isn’t far, the convoy took nearly two hours — to ensure a smooth and safe ride for Biomass.

A few lucky team members had the privilege of witnessing the fairing being hoisted onto the top platform of the mobile gantry — an impressive and emotional sight. Just a day later, it was gently mated onto a fully fuelled VEGA-C, bringing us one step closer to liftoff.

Stay tuned… the view only gets better from here.

It is so exciting to see it all coming together after more than 1 1/2 decades of my efforts. I am just so sad not to be there. Hutch
