Gianfranco Spinella
Launch Service manager
Gianfranco is the ESA Earth Explorers Launch Services Procurement Coordinator. He has participated in numerous launch campaigns, including Envisat, Swarm, Aeolus, Seosat, EarthCare and now BIOMASS. He is the main interface with Arianespace’s Program Director, overseeing the Launch Service contract and ensuring all contractual requirements are met.
Gianfranco works closely with the Launch Campaign Manager and the Satellite Mission Director, supporting all launch preparation activities. His role involves facilitating coordination, resolving technical and logistical challenges, and sharing his extensive knowledge to ensure a smooth and successful mission.
