Tuesday, 15 April – Today marked another special moment in the Biomass adventure, with the fairing signature ceremony, joined by the whole Biomass team from ESA and Airbus. We were happy to share this occasion with our colleagues who came to visit us — a moment of togetherness and pride as we prepare for the final steps of the mission.
Working on Biomass has been a long and meaningful journey for everyone involved. With smiles, a touch of emotion, and plenty of pens, we each left a personal message on the fairing — a wish for a safe journey, a tribute to the effort behind this mission, and a little piece of ourselves flying with it. We also made sure to sign on behalf of those who couldn’t be with us today, but who are just as much a part of this story.

Soon, the upper composite — with Biomass safely enclosed inside its fairing — will make its way to the launch pad for final integration onto VEGA-C. These upcoming scenes promise to be something truly special.
